1. Vasant Panchami is also celebrated as Madonotsav. Another name of Kamadeva is Madan. Kamdev is worshiped on the day of Vasant Panchami. Spring is the friend of Cupid, so Cupid's bow is made of flowers. The command of this bow is voiceless, that is, when Cupid releases the arrow from the command, there is no sound.

3. Cupid's bow is made of sugarcane filled with sweetness, in which a rope of honey of bees is attached. The arrows of his bow are made of flowers of white, blue lotus, jasmine, and mango trees, apart from the fragrant flowers of the Ashoka tree. Cupid has mainly 5 types of arrows. Names of 5 arrows of Kamadeva: 1. Marana, 2. Stambhan, 3. Jrmbhana, 4. Exploitation, 5. Ummadana (Manmanth).
4. Lord Krishna has said in Shrimad Bhagwat Gita- "I am the spring in the seasons."... Because from this day every particle of nature sings with joy and gaiety in the arrival of spring. The weather also changes its pace and becomes intoxicated. The hearts of lovers also start beating. Everything old from this day falls away. Nature makes new makeup again. The embers flare up again in Tesu's heart. The mustard flowers again start singing the song of the farmer. The sound of the cuckoo's kuhu-kuhu starts stirring the life of the whirlpools. The atmosphere filled with intoxication reverberates with special vigor and nature takes its wings again. That is why it is considered as the day of expression of love.
5. According to the Mudgal Purana, Kamadeva's abode is youth, woman, beautiful flowers, songs, pollen grains or nectar of flowers, sweet voice of birds, beautiful gardens, spring season, sandalwood, company of man engaged in lust, hidden The limbs reside in bodies wearing pleasant and gentle air, beautiful places to live, attractive clothes and beautiful ornaments. Apart from this, Kamadeva also resides in the body of women, especially on the eyes, forehead, brows, and lips of women.
