7th Pay Commission: New Year, very good news can be received for the central employees soon. If the CPIIW figure is 125 by December 2021, then there may be an increase in dearness allowance by up to three percent. At present, total Dearness Allowance (DA) is 31 percent, which may be increased to 34 percent. If the dearness allowance is increased to 34 percent, then the salary may increase by 20 thousand rupees.




How much dearness allowance will be increased is not known still, but it is believed that it can increase from 31 percent to 34 percent. Along with this, employees promotion is also given in some departments of the central government. Apart from this, the fitment factor can also be decided in Budget 2022 as well. After approval from the cabinet, it will include in the budget expenditure.



Government can increase DA



According to media reports, the central govt can announce to increase dearness allowance (DA) by 3 percent. A hike of 3 percent could lead to an increase in salaries of government employees by up to Rs 20,000. Under the 7th Central Pay Commission, the DA of government employees is calculated based on basic pay. The current DA rate stands at 31 percent, after a hike of 3 percent in October and 11 percent in July.
