Gallantry Award to 384 people, PVSM to Olympian Neeraj Chopra
New Delhi. The government has announced to confer gallantry awards to 384 people. The Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM) has been announced for Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra in the javelin throw.
On the eve of Republic Day, President Ram Nath Kovind has approved to confer gallantry awards to 384 people.

Apart from these, approval has been given to confer 12 Shaurya Chakra, 29 PVSM, 53 AVSM, 122 VSM, 4 Uttam Seva Medal, 81 Sena Medal (Gallantry, Sena Medal, 2 Air Force Medal).
